Initially constructed in 1928 Armstrong Stadium currently has a seating capacity of 1,500. Seats were first added in 1948 and from 1978 to 1998 such amenities as press boxes, stadium lights, TV towers, ready rooms, new scoreboard, offices and conference room were added. With the addition of end zone seats the stadiums capacity is over 17,000 including standing room only.
